Biography
Based in New York, Thomas Wedell-Wedellsborg is an author, speaker, and lecturer on the topics of innovation and problem solving.
His first book, INNOVATION AS USUAL, was published by Harvard Business Review Press and came out in five languages including Chinese. The book shares how leaders can help their people be more innovative as an integrated part of their regular work.
His second book (forthcoming) shares how a method called reframing can help you find new solutions to your toughest problems. The method was described in his recent HBR article ARE YOU SOLVING THE RIGHT PROBLEMS, and Thomas’s workshop on the topic has been used by companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, UBS, Citigroup, Time Warner Group, Wall Street Journal and the United Nations.
Prior to his business career, Wedell-Wedellsborg served for four years as an officer and infantry platoon commander with the Danish Royal Guards. Originally from Denmark, he holds an MA in Media Science from the University of Copenhagen and an MBA from IESE Business School.
